Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. There is no call-out charge and the measuring visit is free. You only pay for the work you agree to, at the price we agreed before we started.
When can you fit new glass?
New sealed units are made to measure, so we agree a fitting date with you at the measuring visit. Hinges, handles and locks are usually done in one visit.
Do you work evenings and Saturdays?
Yes. We visit until 8pm Tuesday to Friday, and 8am–5pm on Saturdays, in every area we cover. On Mondays we answer photo quotes and take bookings, but don't visit.
Which areas do you cover?
West and central London: Harrow, Hillingdon, Brent, Ealing, Hounslow, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Camden, Islington and City of London. Do you repair timber windows and single glazing?
Yes. We replace broken or misted glass in timber frames, whether it's held in with putty or beads, and in single-glazed windows and doors. We price these from photos. More about timber and single glazing.
Do I need a new window, or just new glass?
Usually just new glass. If the frame is sound, we replace the misted or broken sealed unit and leave the window as it is. A window that has dropped or won't lock usually needs new hinges or a new locking mechanism, not a new window.
What guarantee do you give?
5-year guarantee on new sealed units.
Do you work for landlords and letting agents?
Yes. We quote in writing from your tenant's photos, arrange access with the tenant, including evenings and Saturdays, send photos when the job's done and invoice you or your agent. Agents can open an account.
How do I get a price? Do you need to visit first?
Send us a photo or short video on WhatsApp. For most repairs we can give you a fixed price from that, usually within 15 minutes in opening hours. For new glass we then measure and confirm the price before we order anything.
Can you fit a cat flap in a glass door?
Yes. Glass can't be cut once it's toughened, so we make a new toughened unit with the hole already cut for your cat flap, from £325. How cat flaps in glass work.
How do I pay?
Card or bank transfer. Made-to-order glass may need a deposit when you book; we tell you before ordering.
Do you fix aluminium windows and doors?
We replace glass in aluminium windows and doors, including bifold and sliding patio doors, and repair a lot of their hardware. Send us a photo and we'll tell you whether we can get the parts for yours before we quote.
